Carol Munro has a BSc in Biochemistry and a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Aberdeen.

Marie-Elisabeth Bougnoux took her MD and her PhD from University Paris Descartes, France, where she is currently Associate Professor of Parasitology-Mycology.
