FunHoMic's 13 ESRs will have the opportunity to acquire both scientific and soft (transferable) skills through different workshops:
Research workshop: “Translating ideas into products: diagnostics, therapeutics, LBPs & technologies” Lecture by Partners and invited experts: Deborah O'Neil (CSO and CSO of Novabiotics); Holly Atton and Adele Faulkner (EVOTEC); Alessandra Cervino (CEO of Luxia Scientific); Fiona Rudkin (CEO mycoBiologics) and Terry Roemer (Founder and CSO of Prokaryotics Inc.) Key aspects: from target identification (biomarker, antifungal target, vaccine target, LBPs) to commercial exploitation.
“Academic skills” workshop: Writing grants and papers and achieving closure on a PhD theis. Lecture by Partners and Discussion Sessions Aim: help our ESRs write their thesis efficiently and also prepare them for their next career phases.
